hey_einstein: (BITCH BITCH BITCH)
This is Falco, quit botherin' me.
hey_einstein: (Can't you go bother someone else?)
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, Falco grew up on Zoness, presumably at a time when the planet was slightly less of a shitball.  The son of a deadbeat, absent father and a mother working multiple crap part-time jobs just to make ends meet, he didn't exactly have a solid start.  Falco was a troublemaker from an early age and dropped out of school at thirteen and started running with a local gang; by fourteen, he was arrested for a laundry list of crimes, mostly property because he was a little shit who didn't respect other people's property rights.  He ended up in juvenile hall, but was able to make a deal with the state to reduce his sentence, provided that he immediately join the Cornerian military.

You worry about your own hide )

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, Falco Lombardi was the leader of a galactic gang called the Hot Rodders, because Star Fox is a Japanese franchise and they are physically incapable of making anything sound cool in English. The gang consisted of a bunch of dudes who don’t have names and aren’t important except for Falco and Kat and aren’t seen anywhere outside of an obscure manga where the main plot is how Falco is so tsundere towards Fox. The gang has a setup that is remarkably similar to the Star Fox team’s, but Falco totally ditches those mofos when Fox recruits him during the Lylat Wars and doesn’t look back.

There’s probably stuff that happened before the whole gang thing, but Nintendo doesn’t tell us anything about it. Considering the fact that Falco is a bitchin’ pilot, it’s possible that he was a part of the Cornerian military for a bit, and a throwaway comment during the Zoness mission indicates that it might be his homeworld. If that’s the case, no wonder he wanted to get the hell of that shitball planet, seriously, it sucks.

During the aforementioned Lylat Wars, Falco joins the Star Fox team as their most skilled and also most bitchy member, dishing out incredibly PG abuse towards Fox whenever the opportunity for it arises. He can be very snide and sarcastic and distinctly uncooperative, and his bitchiness is matched only by his enormous ego. Unfortunately for anyone who has to listen to him, he can back up his cocky attitude in the air, except for all those times during the game that he seems to need Fox’s help getting some dickbags off his tail. You will never get thanked for it. Ever.

Despite the sarcasm, Falco does have a distinctly team-shaped soft spot, and he does consider the Star Fox team to be something like family to him—even Slippy. It’s an annoying, dysfunctional family in dire need of therapy, but it’s his and he would risk his neck to save their asses any day of the week.

Falco accompanied Fox on all missions that he didn’t get shot down for (which depends on how shitty a player you are) except for the final confrontation with Andross, because Fox decided that it was totally a great idea to solo the giant evil ape dude. During confrontations with Star Wolf, he is targeted almost exclusively by Leon Powalski. Powalski is something of a foil to Falco, being a similarly very competent and arrogant pilot, but also ruthless and sadistic, whereas Falco is more of a jerk with a heart of gold. (Or at least silver. Maybe bronze.)

After the events of the war, Falco ends up leaving the team due to boredom.

Why should that character be in this game: For OCs only.

Why do you want to continue their history here: For characters from other games only.

For applicants considering an alternate version of a character already in game, please use this as your chance to explain the key differences between your character and the one already in play:

Have you read up on how the game works?: Yes’m.  You can make money by taking missions, being a stupid moocher, or probably idk like prostitution or something.  The network is the Flaming Ferret.

1st person sample:
Anybody know the number of a good mechanic? Man, who’d’ve thought I’d be missing Slippy? Even if he is a screwup, at least he’s good with the Arwing.

[See Falco. See Falco standing in front of a busted-up Arwing, not looking too happy about it.]

Do you see my ship? Does that look space-worthy to you?

[He turned the Guide around so the camera was pointed at him.]

These repairs aren’t comin’ out of my check, is all I’m saying. You hear that, Fox?

3rd person sample:

[It was evening at the Devil’s Nest, and the bar was lined up with the usual crowd. Most of them looked like the space equivalent of bikers, drinking space whiskey and space beer and whatever other alcoholic beverages you could put ‘space’ in front of. Amidst them was Falco, standing out like only a bright blue feathered asshole could.]

[Watching him drink was a fascinating thing, because glasses were not made to accommodate people of the beaked persuasion.]

[He was currently preoccupied with watching the scene unfolding before him, which involved two Moreau siblings, his fearless space leader, and belly rubs.]

Don’t just sit there, Falco! Do something!

Y’know, you’re right, Fox. I should do something.

[He picked up his Guide and started recording.]

Questions?: NEIN

Did you put your characters name and fandom in the subject: JAPretty smooth flying, Fox. )
